Archelon is a genus of sea turtles which had been found existed during the Campanian-age of Cretaceous Period, over 80.5 million years ago. The species was described by Dr. G.R. Wieland in 1895. YPM 3000 is the first specimen of Archelon , the largest that have ever been documented.
