Gigantspinosaurus Dinosaur is one of the most well-known sauropod dinosaurs from the Early Cretaceous period, roughly 140–130 million years ago. Its name comes from the Latin words gigas and spinosa, which mean giant and spines, respectively. It was a medium-sized sauropod, measuring about 19-25 feet from head to tail and weighing up to 8 metric tons. Gigantspinosaurus had a long neck and long tail that were supported by a bulky body. Its long body was covered in unique spiky armor that ran all the way down its back, giving it an impressive appearance. Its small head was protected by a small bony hood, which was made of bony plates called osteoderms.
The osteoderms were fused together in rows and each row was connected to rib-like structures creating a strong armor around the animal's head. People have often compared this armor to the spines of a porcupine. Gigantspinosaurus was an herbivore, with a diet consisting mainly of ferns as well as other low-growing plants. While it did not possess any retractable claws, it did have special spongy pads on its feet, which helped it walk over soft terrain without sinking.

Gigantspinosaurus is believed to have lived in herds, as it is known from fossil evidence that many of the individuals were buried together. As with many sauropods, it is thought that Gigantspinosaurus may have migrated during the winter to avoid predators and find new food sources in warmer climates.
