Bellusaurus is a genus of sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, approximately 160 million years ago. It is known from a single, nearly complete skeleton found in the Shaximiao Formation of Sichuan Province, China. It is one of the few sauropods known from complete skeletons. Bellusaurus was a medium-sized sauropod, estimated to have been around 14 m (45 ft) long. It had a slender, gracile neck, a relatively short tail, and long, slender limbs. Its vertebrae were light and hollow, indicating that it was a relatively fast runner. Its skull was more primitive than other sauropods, with a shorter snout, fewer teeth, and a more-or-less triangular shape.

Bellusaurus is thought to be closely related to Shunosaurus, another sauropod from the same formation. It is also believed to be related to the giant sauropods of the Late Jurassic of Europe and North America. Unlike other sauropods, Bellusaurus had well-developed shoulder and hip joints, which may have allowed it to move more quickly than its larger relatives.
