Lystrosaurus belongs to the family of dicynodont therapsids that had been found existed during the middle Triassic Period, over 250 million years ago. The fossil remains were recovered in Antarctica, India, and South Africa. The dinosaur measures 3 feet long and weigh about 200 pounds.
