Huaxiagnathus belongs to the family of theropod dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous period. The species measured about 1.8 meters in length and its fossils were first recovered in China. A complete skeleton of the holotype CAGS-IG-02-301 reveals the skeletal structure of the dinosaur which consists of a complete skeleton of an adult.
