Carnotaurus means "meat-bull", referring to its discrete bull-like horns was a huge grasping dinosaur, with horns indistinctly akin to a bull's. Carnotaurus lived in Patagonia, Argentina for the period of the Maastrichtian stage of the tardy Cretaceous, and was exposed by Jose F. Bonaparte, who has discovered many other strange South American dinosaurs.
